Last month, Porsche Studio Chevy Chase held its grand opening, as attendees and partners gathered to celebrate luxury, art, and community. The grand opening was hosted at our Studio – just the fourth of its kind across the country. With music, special performances, cocktails, and much more, the Porsche Chevy Chase Grand Opening event proved to be a memorable time celebrating with our community. Automotive heritage, connection, and community intersect at our Porsche Studio, and the unforgettable March night is evidence to this fact.
An Unforgettable Night at the Porsche Chevy Chase Grand Opening: A Celebration of Luxury, Art, and Community
The Porsche Chevy Chase Grand Opening took place on March 19, and we had an incredible turnout for the three-hour evening event. Streets throughout The Collection at Chevy Chase were filled with stunning Porsche vehicles that added to the lively atmosphere. This special event helped showcase a wonderful blend of local partnerships, signature cocktails, and unforgettable experiences.
Guests were entertained with special performances. Attendees got to enjoy a cigar roller, as well as a perfumist experience with fragrance creations. Live horn and violin music were paired with our DJ. There was even a curated art gallery for guests to admire.
A Huge Thank You to Everyone Who Attended
Maria Moncada, Porsche Vice President for Sonic Automotive, Quinn Burroughs, GM of Porsche Bethesda – our Studio's parent store – and John Capella capped off the evening with inspiring remarks. It was truly a night to remember at our Porsche Studio within The Collection at Chevy Chase. This event would not have been so special without the support of our community and everyone in attendance. - Miss Molly Dazzle: Circus sensation Molly Dazzle, who works with fire, LED, and stilts, dazzled the crowd. Molly puts on captivating fire shows at various DMV events, and we were honored to have her join us.
- So Fetch: That's so 2000's. Guests got a blast from the past with music from the So Fetch band during a 2000's dance party.
- Washington Talent Agency: We want to thank the Washington Talent Agency – which aims to deliver happiness one event at a time – for their part in creating a memorable night.
- Dave Marra: Photographic artist Dave Marra, known for his Porsche Art, had art on display with a gallery. Porsche enthusiasts relished the chance to gaze upon Marra's masterpieces.
- Cocktail Curations: We want to thank Cocktail Curations, a women-owned cocktail business in the Washington DC area for indulging our guests with five-star cocktails. Cocktail Curations knows that there is artistry in mixology and is raising the bar for events like ours with specialty beverages.
- Ridgewells Catering Let us extend a special thank you to Ridgewells Catering for catering our grand opening. As Maryland and Washington DC residents know, there's no party like a Ridgewells party. Like Ridgewells, our Porsche Studio also has a passion for celebration, and we're thrilled they could join us and nourish our guests with great bites.
- B Parfums Fragrance Experiences: Guests had the opportunity to design, blend, and bottle their own signature scent with B Parfums Fragrance Experiences. There's no better fragrance creation experience in the DMV.
- Don Cruz Platinum Tequila: A grand opening calls for high-end spirits. That's what Don Cruz Platinum Tequila – the most exclusive tequila in the world – is for. Guests got to sip on smooth tequila during the three-hour event.
- PCNA: We were honored to have representatives from Porsche Cars North America in attendance. Porsche Motorsport North America is the sole importer of Porsche race cars un the United States and Canada.
- The Collection: Representatives from The Collection at Chevy Chase – where our Porsche Studio resides – were in attendance, and we are grateful they could join us.
- Potomac Lifestyle: The Potomac Lifestyle – a community-focused magazine – was in attendance to document the signature community event. Potomac Lifestyle serves as the ultimate print and digital guide to life on the Potomac in Maryland, and we're pleased they could once again get a glimpse of what our Porsche Studio has to offer.
- Chevy Chase Land Company: Community, connectivity, and continuity have been hallmarks of the Chevy Chase Land Company since 1890, and we were honored to have their representatives join us.
